Payment of Water Charges

Mode of payment

    The payment of water charges has to be made at the concerned section offices before due date shown in the Provisional Invoice Card. The time of acceptance of money is 10.30 AM to 1.15 PM and 2 PM to 3 PM on all working days. Cheques/ Demand Drafts should be drawn in the name of the Assistant Executive Engineer of the concerned Sub Division. For Cheques receipt will be issued only after realisation. All consumers are to get revised their monthly rate at least once in a year from the counter.

Dispute on Meter Readings / Bills

    If the consumer has any dispute on rate of consumption / bills, he/she can lodge a written complaint to the Assistant Executive Engineer within 20 days on receipt of the bill. If found necessary, the consumer can give an appeal to the Executive Engineer after remitting 50% of the bill amount within 30 days of the receipt of the bill to avoid disconnection. If the amount so remitted is found to be in excess, the same will be adjusted against future water charges. In all such cases the decision of the Executive Engineer shall be final.
